History in the Making
11, 500 and growing strong, MDIS has come a long way from its vocational beginnings to being a popular tertiary hub with us, the students, who are interested in pursuing courses that are in demand and inline with today’s professional climate.
Eye-catching campus, quirky street names, cafeteria for the famished (beggars can’t be choosers!), sports facilities catering to the indoor and outdoor enthusiasts, studios serving varied needs from dance to broadcast, an energy hub (that is the gym for the uninitiated!) and the very recent addition to the facility-family, a hospitality-training center make up the landscape of MDIS, information, which we all already know.
We also know our beloved MDIS is famous for starting up 1-day events for a variety of reasons. These can range from motivational talks, networking sessions, bazaars, crash-course workshops that teach anything from make-up application to coffee appreciation!
But have you felt the excitement to get your friends in and go for any of these? Or maybe just utilize the facilities mentioned or even know how to go about registering to use them?
Or maybe the question is; have you ever felt like being a part of our school because there was something you really wanted to do instead of just being a part of the 3pm Far-East Plaza scene?
With a revamp of our dormant campus culture, being a part of MDIS wouldn’t be such a chore anymore.
