The Christmas Wishbox is full of your comments and suggestions and we are really happy about that! After compiling and discussing, we've come up with the most frequently 'requested' and 'asked' questions regarding our school, the Student Council and everything else under the sun.
For today, we answer some of your comments and suggestions.
- Can we have a swimming pool in our school?
Technically, the MDIS UniCampus already has access to a pool, although not within school grounds. We are talking about the Queenstown Swimming Complex right beside our campus. If you don't already know, MDIS students can use the pool for free, all you have to do is exchange your MDIS student card at the gym (EnergyHub) with a Swimming Complex pass and you're good to go. Don't forget your sunblock!
- We would like to see more grand festival competitions like a 'Western Music Competition' or a 'Band Competition'.
Glad you brought that up, at least we know that there are people interested in such events and it gives us more inspiration. A little insider fact, there already have been discussions regarding that so keep your fingers crossed for 2008!
- I wish that I can make a wish everyday.
Well, you can. MDIS has a comments and suggestions box in the Student Services counter. So if you really want to, you can drop a wish each day.
- I want a teddy bear!
We recommend The Bear Factory where you can make your own bear.
- I want a Persian cat for Christmas.
I don't know if you know this but I have a Persian cat but I ain't willing to give her away. Find your own! =p
- I want a Prince Charming for Christmas.
We all want that too, honey. February is only 2 months away, a little more waiting won't hurt, because we are sure you're gonna love what we have in store for you on Heart's Day.
