Having your meals in school is never an exciting affair. Apart from the fact that there are tons of good-looking people to oggle at, meal times in the school canteen can really hurt your taste buds and wreck your appetite. So the only wisest thing to do is to get the hell out and venture into the not-so-unknown neighbourhood foodstalls which surround our Minicampus. The following is the list you can consider:
1. The coffeeshop just outside the school - a place like this is hard to come by these days. It has such an old-school feel about it that having your lunch there would remind you about everything good from the 80s.
2. The coffeeshop opposite Queenstown MRT - check out the Indian briyani shop. The fried chicken will rock your socks and the curry that accompanies it so tasty, you would wanna drink it.
3. The canteen in the mosque - there are no rules or restrictions placed upon non-Muslims from using the canteen in the mosque. So feel free to drop in and check out the various dishes cooked up by the Malay auntie who mans the store.
4. The ulu McDonald's in the "jungle" - though its about ten minutes walk from the school, its definitely worth taking a trip to if you want to have a peaceful meal and enjoy the hidden-away feel.
