Campus Spy Needs A Job
so Campus Spy attended the
Winning Interviewing Skills and Image Essentials seminar, organized by the school's Career Assistance Unit.
This is one of the two compulsory seminars all degree students must attend before graduating. And Campus Spy being... well... Campus Spy (you know I'm a busybody), decides to tag along and check it out.
Here's what the lot learned today:
Remember people telling us not to judge a book by its cover? Well, that's total BS. Even Oscar Wilde said that "It's only a fool who doesn't judge by appearances."
As a matter of fact, it is a
55-38-7 world out there. What does Campus Spy means by this? Well, 55% of the first impression you make on others is based on looks. Not that the world is shallow and against you if you are not so pretty or cute or _feelfreetoinsertanadjectivehere_ but how you groom and present yourself to the world. The following 38% is based on your walk, gait, seating position and posture, while words only make up the small remainder of seven percent.
Campus Spy can tell what are the
SEVEN IMAGE KILLERS for both men and women, but that has got to wait till another day.
Campus Spy has to prepare for an interview!
