Cricket is a sport which is usually associated with Indians and Englishmen. A game which is not as widely played as soccer or basketball, but a similar level of passion and enthusiasm is on display by the guys in white when occupying a cricket pitch. So its quite a sight when you catch our very own students gracing the turfs of Ceylon Sports Club in Balestier.
Managing a group of 15 to 20 students, Orshan is the current captain of the team and he can be contacted at 82333436 if any of you are interested in trying out this unique sport or wish to display your skills to the current crop of players. Afterall, you have to be neither Indian or English to excel in this game. All one needs to be is a person with interest and a little bit of adventure in him to enjoy this lovely game.
