Going Global
I was reading the newspaper last week when lo and behold, an article featuring the new MDIS campus in Tashkent flashes before my eyes. I know you must have thought the same thing as I have, Tashkent?? Where on earth is that? Well my friends, I bet you didn't know that Tashkent, is the capital of Uzbekistan. The country has a population of more than 28 million people. Jointly set-up by MDIS and the Uzbekistan Banking Association, it is no wonder that the three courses currently offered are BSc (Hons) in Entrepreneurship and Management, Business and Marketing and Banking and Finance.
The Tashkent campus boasts state-of-the-art classrooms and lecture theatres, computer laboratories, a hospitality training centre and dig this - an indoor swimming pool. Now, wouldn't it be nice if we had one over at Unicampus too? ;) A real one of course.
