Gym Sweet Gym
Being a frequent patron of the Energy Hub, our school gym, I can’t help but notice all the interesting happenings which occur down there. One can’t help but take notice of the interesting groups of people who come in there in the name of working out but end up making quite a scene. There are times when a particular group will be in the weights section and a few of the guys will be going about lifting weights and a few of their friends will be lingering around either chatting with their friends or worse still, sitting on equipments which they are not using and depriving the others the opportunity to use it. It’s not like as though the Energy Hub is similar to all the various fitness centres out in the market. The space is small and thus the equipment minimal. So it’s very inconsiderate to be hanging around and occupying the space, especially when you are not paying to use the gym and are only there to keep your friends company.
If this is not bad enough, then we have inconsiderate, paying patrons who leave the weights lying around everywhere, not able to understand the signs on the walls which instruct users to leave weights in their appropriate positions in the weight stands provided. Some users don’t seem to understand the dangers in leaving weights lying around. And worse still, just yesterday morning, I saw this group of guys fooling around by playing soccer in the weights section with the big gym balls, totally unaware that other users are pretty annoyed.
And if you thought all this ends in the workout section of the gym, wait till you get to the changing room. It is the place where you can see guys comfortably roaming around only in their undies. But all that will be a thing of the past as we have a fellow student who happens to be peeping tom. It was reported that this particular student was caught peeping at guys bathing in the cubicles. And he apparently did that while he was totally naked. Boy, how’s that for an interesting day in Energy Hub?
