Members of SPARKS the Student Council took part in the third team-building event on Nov 8 at East Coast Park. The event, organized for the purpose of giving the council members an opportunity to work in teams by participating in a treasure hunt, turned out to be a huge success considering the turnout and the happy faces that were gleaming with joy at the end of the five hour event.
With everyone decked out proudly in their bright red T-shirts, emblazoned with our school and council logo raised quite a few curious stares from the public who were either cycling or having a simple BBQ gathering by the beach.
The running and cycling from station to station really took a toll on some of the participants. But the yummy pizzas which the participants were treated to at the end of the event gave everyone a reason to end the event with a satisfied smile on their faces regardless of what the result was. We hope to see not only SC members participating and enjoying themselves in future similar events, but also the entire student body of MDIS. So keep a lookout for all the exciting events which are coming your way in the new year.
