I got some info about
ChannelNewsAsia welcoming rookie reporters to send in their work for
I Journalist, a prog. that gives citizen journalists a chance to speak out on issues close to their heart which may have escaped the eyes of a professional journalist.
Well, these people are now coming to MDIS to search for the future showstealerrs & MDIS will be awarding the participants a
Certificate of Appreciation from their end!
I guess what would happen is that teams have to be formed and then if your team is selected,
you will get to produce a 5 to 7-minute documentary that will be aired during primetime on national TV with sassyshow host, Nina E. Varghese, who will interview you on your experience.
Sad thing is that I heard this is only open to Mass Comms Degree students, but I've already suggested they open this up to our homies from Uni of Bradford, Uni of Wales, Ecu, etc..
