Even if your sole purpose in life while studying in MDIS was to - go to class, take down notes, clarify doubts with the lecturer at the end of class, after which you go straight home, not passing GO and not collecting $200,
You would have to be blind as, well your average blind man down the street, to have NOT seen the posters for going "Around the World".
BIG, BRIGHT, YELLOW with a GREEN GLOBE smack in the middle - remember it? GOOD, cuz how else would you be reading this right?!
So...
3 days, 3 friends, 1 Unicampus and a trip round the world, think we might just be having the script for Mission Impossible - IX? Well sure, IF you are made of a 1-track mind and think of the globe in terms of airports and cliched sight-seeing.
Knowledge of any place, allows for a more memorable appreciation and understanding; which is the aim of the SPARK'S version to going 'Around the World'.
Treasure Hunt - Is it enough to just go where everyone goes; or do you want to explore where no one has gone before? Classrooms, cafeteria, gym and library aside, can you say you know MDIS like the back of your hand? Well you better, as this Hunt's gonna be sending you in for quite a ride and you better know your way out!
Brain Sparks - No one needs to know what an 'adobo' is or which nation makes it a crime to kill cows for meat. But what if I were to tell you an 'adobo' is Spanish for seasoning but has its culinary roots in a beautiful ASEAN country? Or that the
killing-cows-are-a-crime nation is home to one of the world's most breath-taking mountain ranges? There are so much we don't need to know, but don't let that stop you from being a Mr/Ms. Know-it-All. And didn't you know being a blonde's not in vogue anymore? *just FYI!*
Culture Vulture - Devour culture in ways you would never have thought of ever! To say any more would be to give the game away...
